ZonePlayer Setup and Operation
1-2-3 Setup
It takes just 3 steps to get your Sonos Digital Music System up and running:
Connect speakers or an external amplifier to your ZonePlayer
Connect the first Sonos ZonePlayer (with Ethernet cable supplied) to your home
network
Install the computer software (or use the Sonos Controller) to configure your
music system
Easy as 1-2-3 Setup
Follow the step-by-step instructions to ensure that you set up your Sonos Digital Music
System correctly.
• If you experience any difficulty during the setup process, see "Tips and Trouble-
shooting"for additional help.
• The first ZonePlayer you set up should connect to your home network using a
standard Ethernet cable (supplied). If your computer only has a wireless connec-
tion, visit our Web site at http://faq.sonos.com/wireless.
1. Connect the first ZonePlayer to your home network (with supplied Ethernet
cable).
2. Install the software and follow the prompts to add the ZonePlayer and set up
access to your music files.
3. Add the Controller to your music system.
Once you’ve set up your music system, you can easily add more ZonePlayers or any
other Sonos components you’ve purchased.
